La Guerra de África a través de las imágenes de la época es el punto de partida de la conferencia que el doctor en Patrimonio y licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual, Antonio David Palma, ha ofrecido este martes en el Centro Cultural de los Ejércitos. A través de dibujos, pinturas y fotografías, el artífice de este trabajo acompañó a los asistentes en el recorrido del Ejército español desde su salida del puerto de Málaga hasta su llegada a tierras marroquíes. “Las ilustraciones son de muy alta calidad y las fotografías, a pesar de ser un arte recién nacido, son impresionantes”, explicó.
A la riqueza visual de esta contienda se suma la relevancia de las fuentes que vivieron de primera mano un hecho histórico que ha llegado hasta nuestros días en forma de documento gráfico. “Me quedo con la importancia de estas fuentes que nos ofrecen muchos datos objetivos y a través de ahí el historiador puede conocer cómo ocurrieron los hechos”.
Más de 100 imágenes que han ilustrado este paseo por un capítulo de la historia de España en el norte de África.
Palma ha llevado esta conferencia más allá de nuestras fronteras, concretamente a Colombia donde actualmente también desarrolla un proyecto en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali basado en la masacre de Trujillo, la cual será recreada mediante imágenes, sonidos y también testimonios de testigos.
